MISSION

To attain local government financial sustainability thru a steadfast discharge of the core elements
of the role as front liners of revenue generation, as repository and guardians of public funds, and
as advocates for sobriety in fiscal management.

VISION

We envision being a model in the entire region in the delivery of local treasury services.

MANDATE

The Municipal Treasurer’s Office (MTO) serves as Revenue Generation and Funds Custodial arm
of the Local Government Unit. As such, it shall manage Revenue Mobilization and Financial
Sustainability Program, and shall exercise proper management of public funds and such other
funds the custody of which may be entrusted to it by law or competent authority, all with the
end view of efficient tax collection, and effective custodial, expenditure, and disbursement of
these public funds.
